Accommodation in Chobe National Park

Many accommodation options will include game drives and boat cruises in their rates. Or if none of this floats your boat, try a houseboat instead!
Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge in the park. This exclusive 5 star luxury lodge can accommodate 94 guests and all rooms have private decks overlooking the beautiful and game-rich Chobe River. The food is spectacular and so is the all-round ambience of the main lodge areas, bars, decks and boardwalks. Facilities include a swimming pool, a spa and a gym. Wifi is available throughout. Game drives and boat cruises are included in your all-inclusive package.
If you are looking for an even more intimate and exclusive bush experience in Chobe, Chobe Under Canvas operates a lavish full service mobile tented lodge inside the park, which moves to a number of different unfenced locations on a bi-weekly basis. The open air bush dinners are particularly special experience. This is safari in its most unadulterated form, and as you sip a sundowner beneath the African sky with the sounds of the wild all around you, you might be forgiven for feeling like you are a colonial explorer from a bygone era.
Accommodation in and around Kasane
Most visitors to Chobe National Park stay outside the park in and around the small and friendly town of Kasane. There is plenty of choice here, from cheap and cheerful riverfront campsites with fire pits and decent amenities, right through to luxury, secluded five star lodges. Most accommodation options are situated along the beautiful riverfront and many have their own pontoons and boats for evening boat cruises. Elephant, buffalo, various antelope and sometimes even some of Chobe’s predators are regular visitors to a number of Kasane’s lodges and campsites. Staying outside the park also gives you more opportunity to explore some of the good restaurants and bars in Kasane itself. Here is a full list of the accommodation on offer in Kasane:
There are a handful of houseboats that operate on the Chobe, giving guests the unique opportunity to experience all that Chobe National Park has to offer without even having to leave the comfort of their floating lodge. Some of the boats encompass the Upper Zambezi as well as the Chobe. Boats vary in size from 5 suites up to 14 suites. Guests are generally able to tailor their own itineraries from day to day, so you can head out on a private water-based game drive on a small tender boat directly from your houseboat, spend a day fishing, or just sit back on the sun deck, relax and enjoy the ride.
