Most visitors to Chobe National Park stay outside the park in and around the small and friendly town of Kasane. There are plenty of options here, from cheap and cheerful riverfront accommodation to luxurious and secluded five-star lodges. Most accommodation options are situated along the beautiful riverfront, many of which have their own pontoons or boats for you to go on leisurely river cruises.
Elephant, buffalo, antelope and sometimes even some of Chobe’s predators are well-known visitors to a number of Kasane’s lodges and resorts. Staying outside the park also gives you more opportunity to explore some of the good restaurants and bars in Kasane itself.
