Chobe Bakwena Lodge

Chobe Bakwena is an intimate and privately-owned eco-lodge, surrounded by indigenous riverine woodlands. The eco-friendly décor and designs incite a placid and comfortable escape from city life.

A few eco-characteristics of the lodge include a natural swimming pool – solely filtered by plants – as well as eco-friendly cuisine and culinary options, buildings, development methods, and even employment policies. The lodge is built to be eco-friendly from top to bottom, while still providing you with ultimate luxury.

An array of activities is available in and around the lodge, not only can you experience the highest concentration of elephants in Africa on your doorstep, but a variety of adventures that range from fishing trips, guided bicycle tours, sundowner cruises, to so much more.

There are several accommodation options that include ten River Chalets nestled between the indigenous riverine forest, five Treetop Chalets elevated on wooden stilts – three metres above the ground and encased between treetop canopies. One spacious and secluded Family Room is available to accommodate the little ones, and lastly a romantic Honeymoon Suite for those love-birds seeking refuge in the awe-inspiring surroundings of the African bush.
